Spiral shadows on the tiles
This is beautiful. It gives such a strange and unexpected feeling of quiet and space.
Great stuff. Makes me nostalgic for Vancouver, where I lived for 17 years up to 2003. Came back for a visit in June/July and was amazed at how it was still changing — Granville Street closed for subway construction, buildings being ripped apart and redone etc; another new era looming because of the Olympics, just like the boom that occurred around Expo 86.

I think it will continue to change right up until the Olympics. I’ve only lived here for about two and a half years and there have been an amazing amount of changes to the city in such a short amount of time.
