Looking in the Green

green leaves

From Free Will Astrology:

LEO (July 23-Aug. 22): “I saw the angel in the marble and carved until I set him free,” said the sculptor Michelangelo about a statue he made. Let that approach be your guide in the coming weeks, Leo. Proceed according to the hypothesis that the beautiful thing you want to create is embedded in stuff that’s hiding its true nature, and your job is simply to liberate it from what’s extraneous.

Greetings! Forgive, please, this intrusion…I wanted to leave a quick note, after seeing your fashion photos at Flickr. First, *wow* I followed the thread from Flickr to your art at Etsy, and good golly your work is beautiful! And also, I saw at Flickr the lovely photo you posted that mentioned you had a rash, and were feeling a bit low about yourself—I have, forgive the forwardness, a mark on my chest that at times in my life has caused me to suffer from low self-esteem…a wonderful woman I dated once made me realize that despite this mark, I was still a very good, attractive person. I just wanted to say that you look remarkably beautiful in all of your photographs, and you have a smile that could turn any night into the brightest day. I hope your trip to the doctor resolves the trouble with the rash you are having, and please do not let this hurt your self-esteem…you seem like a lovely person. Be well, sincerely, Chris

Thank you very much for your kind words Chris, and for checking out my work. The rash seems to be much better at the moment even though I still haven’t gone to see a doctor. I feel much better than I did a few weeks ago, and I am very grateful for that.

You’re welcome, Rachael, and I’m very happy you are feeling better. And you’re also welcome, of course, for my having checked out your art…though really, it was a joy to view. It must make you so proud, at an exhibit, to see people admiring your work…it must be so satisfying, and it must make you simply glow inside…I’ve always thought that sort of glow was healing, too. Be well, Rachael, sincerely, Chris
